Life at SMEMS : 
                                
                                    Sri Masineni English Medium School strives for academic excellence while 
                                    also expanding the scope of co-curricular activities. The school day is planned in 
                                    such a way that the child's holistic learning needs are met at all times.
                                
                                
                                In Kindergarten : 
                                
                                    The early years have flexible schedules that begin each day with assemblies, 
                                    physical activity, circle time, or group chat. Every day begins with circle time, 
                                    which involves sharing feelings, stories, and positive affirmations. Activities and 
                                    exploratory, hands-on learning activities in language, number work, and general 
                                    awareness begin learning; pre-reading and reading sessions improve listening, 
                                    comprehension, and focus. 
                                
                                
                                    Play time includes both a structured curriculum for skill development and 
                                    free play in designated indoor and outdoor play areas outfitted with safe equipment 
                                    and play material. Other activities include art and craft, rhymes and music, and 
                                    puppet theatre story time. Children enjoy library and life skills classes where they 
                                    learn how to fold and button shirts, lace shoes, brush their teeth, eat healthy and be 
                                    polite.
                                
                                
                                Grades 1 and above : 
                                
                                    A typical day for students in Grades 1–8 starts with a school assembly that 
                                    sets the tone for the day. Students from each class take turns making presentations, 
                                    quizzes, and other interactive programmes on current events. This allows them to 
                                    hone their public speaking skills, broaden their general knowledge through active 
                                    participation, and foster a healthy student culture of self-learning.
                                
                                
                                    The rest of the day is spent by the students participating in interactive classes 
                                    in which spontaneity is actively encouraged. A variety of co-curricular activities 
                                    are also woven into the daily schedule to ensure the students' holistic development. 
                                    A variety of inter-house competitions, both literary and cultural, are held to 
                                    encourage students to strive for excellence. Students in grades 6 through 8 are 
                                    members of various Clubs where they learn management skills as well as 
                                    participate in other activities. Students are tasked with organizing events in order to 
                                    develop their organizational and leadership abilities.
                                
                                
                                    A surfeit of events throughout the academic year provides a multitude of 
                                     chances for children to showcase their talents in a variety of fields.
                                
                                
                                Academic fair : 
                                
                                    An Academic fair is organized with the goal of bringing out students' hidden 
                                   talents in fields such as science, art, music, literature, and so on. The students 
                                    create fantastic projects on the assigned topics, which they display on 'Fair Day.' 
                                    The overwhelming response of the parents motivates the Masinenies to perform 
                                    better each year. The fair provides students with an enlightening experience.
                                
                                
                                Hindi Diwas : 
                                
                                    Hindi Diwas is observed to honour Hindi, India's official language. The 
                                    students and faculty of Jain Public School observe Hindi Diwas to recognize the 
                                    importance of the country's most widely spoken language. A special assembly is 
                                    held during which students perform skits, group songs, dances, and other activities. 
                                    Throughout the week, class-specific activities and competitions such as quizzes, 
                                    elocution, declamation, and fancy dress are held.
                                
                                
                                Sports Day : 
                                
                                    This is an opportunity for children who enjoy outdoor sports and team 
                                  games to shine. Children also learn how to cope in a competitive environment, as 
                                  well as all about winning and losing, which are important life skills to learn in 
                                  preparation for the workplace
                                
                                
                                    It may also provide an opportunity for students to gain firsthand experience 
                                    with the importance of following the rules, teamwork, fair play, and respect for 
                                    others, as well as gain wider recognition for their athletic abilities. The sports meet 
                                    begins with a March past performed by all of the class students. There are distance 
                                    races, relay races, and drills. For the parents, fun events are planned. The 
                                    dignitaries present medals and trophies to the students.
                                
                                
                                Annual Day: 
                                
                                    Annual Day is an important part of our school's calendar. It is a time for 
                                  celebrations, felicitations, and festivities as students not only present their 
                                  wonderful performances but also receive honors for their curricular and co-
                                  curricular achievements. A grand stage is set up for the students to showcase their 
                                  talents. They present captivating cultural events such as dances, street plays, 
                                  dramas and so on specific themes.
